Dr. Husnain Sadiq Kasuri
M.Phil Agricultural Extension and Rural development
University of agriculture Faisalabad
Director of Research and Programs
His Vision 2030 for the Foundation, which he personally designed, serves as a strategic blueprint to amplify the organization’s impact through innovative, community-centered approaches. This vision emphasizes scaling up literacy programs, enhancing educational access in underserved regions, and fostering economic empowerment to build resilient communities.
At its core, Dr. Kasuri’s vision integrates technology and global networking to create sustainable change. He envisions the Foundation’s website (ittehadfoundation.org.pk) and its expansive “wall network” as digital hubs for advocacy, resource sharing, and stakeholder collaboration, connecting local efforts in Kasur District with international partners like the UN CRC and PODA. By 2030, he aims to expand these initiatives to cover broader themes such as climate resilience and gender equity, targeting flood-affected areas and marginalized groups to ensure inclusive prosperity.
Dr. Kasuri’s passion stems from a deep-rooted commitment to creating “landmark work” that uplifts people’s lives, drawing from his diverse background as a researcher at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), lecturer, actor, and director. He views prosperity not merely as economic growth but as holistic well-being—encompassing education, cultural preservation, and social justice. His efforts in proposal writing and program development during his tenure as Program Officer (November 2024–February 2025) laid the groundwork for scalable projects that prioritize long-term community development over short-term aid. This passion is evident in his intellectual drive to innovate, such as directing cultural plays on themes like Harappa heritage, which he parallels with modern social initiatives to inspire collective progress.
Ultimately, Dr. Kasuri’s work at Ittehad Foundation embodies a fervent belief in human potential, aiming to forge enduring landmarks in Pakistan’s non-profit landscape that promote prosperity for all, particularly the vulnerable. His approach combines creativity, research, and unwavering dedication, positioning him as a catalyst for positive, generational change.
